Homecourt Extranet

As an agency working with clients, we were looking for a solution that provided easy collaboration across multiple projects and let us easily link to ongoing work. It turns out that no good solution exists for this much-needed market. So was born Homecourt, a unique collaborative tool for agencies with clients.

Homecourt is a hosted solution: we run it from our servers, and companies purchase access to it on a monthly basis. The application allows companies to add their own logo and colour scheme, and with a link from their own web site, Homecourt can appear to be the company's own solution.

Homecourt's chief metaphor is the "court": for each project with a company's clients, there are many action items that are either in your court of theirs. Take, for example, a request from the agency for the client to provide some raw images for a web site. The agency puts the request in the client's court. Once provided (a file upload capability is included), the client throws the item into the agency's court for review. Combined with the ability to have extensive discussions for each action, Homecourt has the potential to replace email as the chief means of communication on a project.

Currently, Homecourt is in the final stages of development, and will soon be released into limited beta testing.
